I am delighted that I am an ambassador for Holistic Essentials London (previously Ayurveda Pura), a company that pairs timeless Ayurvedic values and principles with their luxurious products. I am an Ayurvedic practitioner myself who studied with Dr Deepa Apte at the Holistic Essentials Academy. Ayurveda translates as 'life science', or 'the science of life' from Sanskrit to English. It is the sister science to Yoga, and is an ancient Indian lifestyle philosophy that aims to bring us back to our natural, harmonious state, by working with the 'Doshas'. These are 3 main constitutions that are reflective of the elements, and exist within us all. We are all born with one more dominant Dosha that is the truest reflection of ourselves, but become imbalanced through the lifestyle that we lead in the modern World. Through various lifestyle practices such as diet, Yoga, massage and skin care, Ayurveda brings you back to the state you were meant to be in all along.
